Benefit for the Brain
NAMI Office Volunteer – light administrative work: mailings, filing, etc.
Organize a NAMI Fundraising Event – in your community or workplace.
Presenters must be an individual with lived experience and willing to share your story through a 60-90 min presentation. Stipend offered. Formal NAMI training will be provided and is required.
Two presenter opportunities: Stipend offered.
- Peer Presenter – must be between the ages of 18-35yrs with lived experience to share your story with high school aged youth.
- Adult Presenter – must be 35yrs or older and a family member/loved of someone with mental illness.
Formal NAMI training provided and required for both positions.
Volunteers will have a space in the lobby of hospitals during visitation hours where they will provide visitors with information on NAMI Mont Co and other local mental health resources. Stipend offered.
Looking for Facilitators to run a once a month support group for family members/loved ones of someone living with a mental illness. Facilitators must be a family member/loved one of someone with a mental illness. Stipend offered. Formal training provided by NAMI and required.
